I hope you enjoyed hearing from friends and relatives this Christmas via cards. I know I did. Some friends I rarely ever see in person. Two are a cancer survivor and her college-age daughter I met, of all places, in Paris.

I’m just about ready for Christmas here at Regal-Hill. I mixed up a second batch of cookies with pineapple filling. The dough has to chill and the filling has to cool so I mix them up a day or two before I want to bake them.

I plan to write Christmas cards today since both the inside and outside decorating here at Regal-Hill is done. I have started my Christmas shopping and bought a few gifts, including a package of ping-pong balls for Spunky, our barn cat turned house cat.

We have the outside Christmas lights up and working here at Regal-Hill, thanks to George and the neighbors who helped. They look very nice.
