Upstage Community Coffeehouse presents James Krueger and friends
Pine Hill — The Pine Hill Community Center will host the Upstage New York Community Coffeehouse on Saturday, Feb. 28 at 7 p.m. The show, led by Pine Hill’s own James Krueger, will feature the fine vocal work of Amy Soucy from New York City, the haunting Celtic inspired harp playing of Deborah Osherow, and the lively fiddle and banjo tunes of Kate West and Alan McKnight.
Audience members will enjoy hot coffee and teas as well as fresh, homemade desserts while these talented performers entertain and inspire, trading off songs in an intimate, unplugged format. This show is a follow-up on the center’s very successful Songs of the Earth Coffeehouse in December. All proceeds benefit the center’s ongoing programming.
It’s the last night in February, and you’re tired of the cold, the snow, the ice, and those visits from the heating oil truck every other day. You want spring, but you know it is still a few weeks away. You’d pamper yourself, you’d take a vacation, go out to an expensive dinner, gorge on fine chocolate, but those incessant heating bills have the better of you. Well, don’t fret, because the Pine Hill Community Center is offering a reprieve. Imagine yourself gathered around a candlelit table with friends and neighbors, sipping on hot coffee or tea, savoring a freshly baked dessert while four fine performers share their talents in an intimate, unplugged, in the round format.
To top off the offering, the center is only asking a modest $5 donation for The Pine Hill Community Center is at 287 Main Street in Pine Hill. Call 254-5469 for more information.
