Twilight on the Rails Saturday at D&URR

There’s no better way to spend a lovely summer evening than on the Delaware & Ulster Railroad listening to great music as you roll along beside the East Branch of the Delaware River. On Saturday, Sept. 5, the Blues Maneuver will take to the rails on the historic D&URR from 6 to 8:30  p.m. for a slow-moving scenic train ride that everyone will enjoy.
The Blues Maneuver Band has been one of the Catskill region’s premier special event bands for more than a decade, performing at clubs, concerts, music festivals, weddings, parties, corporate events, reunions and other special occasions from Massachusetts to North Carolina, Cooperstown to New York City.
Based in the heart of the Catskills, the six-piece band combines top-notch musicianship, impeccable vocals harmonies and a mighty horn section. The Blues Maneuver band has an eclectic repertoire to suit nearly any musical test, with tunes from today to the 1940s, including a vast selection of swing, Motown and classic R&B.
The band features front man/vocalist/trombonist David (Luther) Krajicek; music director Jesse (Guitar King) Cohen on lead guitar and alto saxophone; Rebecca Harrington, a talented vocalist who leads the band’s Chicken Shack horn section, on tenor sax, flute and trumpet; vocalist John Heney on bass; vocalist/percussionist John Kincheloe, and Ira McIntosh, another vocalist who plays guitar and mandolin.
