Summer reading set at Roxbury

The Roxbury Library Association is offering the NYS-initiated theme “Be Creative @ Your Library” for the Roxbury Library’s 2009 Summer Reading Program. Individual sessions for different age groups will provide youthful participants with a range of activities, from reading and storytelling to arts-and-crafts projects, with refreshments offered at the end of each session, all free of charge.
The program started July 6 and ends on Thursday, July 30, the schedule for the Roxbury Library 2009 Summer Reading Program is as follows:
Mondays, 11 a.m. – 1 p.m.: Pre-K, K and Grade 1 (Group Leader: Tina Peters);
Tuesdays, 11 a.m. – 1 p.m.: Grade 2 (Group Leader: Jackie Grant);
Wednesdays, 11 a.m. – 1 p.m.: Grades 3 and 4 (Group Leader Solange Counort); and
Thurdays, 11 a.m. – 1 p.m.: Grades 5, 6 and 7 (Group Leader: Susan Whittenburg).
