Roxbury artist Ellen Wong presents a multi-media exhibit, “The Face of Farming,” with portraits of local farm families, at the Margaretville Cauliflower Festival on Saturday, Sept. 27 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the village park.
The Engaging the World Forum returns to the Carriage House of the Gould Memorial Reformed Church on Sunday, Sept. 28 at 3 p.m. This forum features a filmed interview with noted author and columnist James Carroll. Last Wednesday Gloria Stewart and Esther Snyder visited Susan Wright at the hospital in Cobleskill where she has been a patient for two weeks.
David Scudder attended the board meeting of the Scudder Association at the Woodbridge Hilton in Iselin, New Jersey on Friday evening. The association provides educational grants for students in the fields of Christian ministry, healthcare and social work.
