After three years of no summer baseball, Roxbury American Legion Baseball is back! This year’s team consists of 17 boys and girls (half of which have never played baseball before.) Anthony Camillone Jr. and Andrew Camillone are volunteer coaches. The team will travel to Stamford, Delhi, Oneonta, Margaretville and of course play at the Roxbury Central School field for home games. Thursday, July 3 is the next home game against Margaretville starting at 6 p.m. To date the team has been fund raising to cover registration, insurance, umpires, balls and bats. The team has been using the Roxbury Central School uniforms but would like to fund raise enough to cover uniforms for next year. If you would like to assist the team, please send donations to Ralph S. Ives Post #1785, P.O. Box 74, Halcottsville, NY 12438.
