Tom Morse of Rosharon, Texas came by plane and is spending more than a week with his mother, Edna Morse at her home here.

Danny Underwood took a Christmas tree to his daughter’s home in Kerhonkson Friday. They decorated it and Mary and her father also had dinner at the Lake Mohonk Mountain House where she is employed. Danny retuned home Saturday.

A get-together lunch in Stamford last Wednesday marked the two December birthdays of former longtime neighbors, Gloria Stewart and Shirley Payne. Gloria’s daughter Diane and Shirley’s mother, Esther especially enjoyed the affair which was a first get-together since the four of them lived on properties adjoining each other in Roxbury for several years.

Several people from the Roxbury area attended the Christmas program held at the Pilgrim Holiness Church in Grand Gorge Sunday evening. After the program a goody bag was given to each of the 95 people present.

For the people enjoying the sunny south, a resident of Lake Street said the thermometer registered nine degrees Tuesday morning.
