Roxbury business group to host mixer

Roxbury — The Greater Roxbury Business Association (GRBA) invites you to join us in ushering in the holiday sat our December Holiday Business Mixer & Networking Event, Tuesday, Dec. 3 at 5:30 p.m., at Roxbury Abbey (the Old Catholic Church, repurposed into a modern art studio), 53266 State Hwy 30, Roxbury.
Owner and artist Brian Tolle and his partner Brian Clyne are excited to show off their newly renovated space. The GRBA also welcomes Jeff Tichenor and Peter Chen, the owners of the upcoming Roxbury Wine and Spirits, and Robin Factor and Doug McLaurine of Roxbury General, all of whom will be on hand to introduce themselves and chat about their new endeavors.
“This is a stimulating and promising time for Roxbury,” says Peg Ellsworth, Roxbury resident and director of the MARK Project. She adds, “There is a resurgence of business activity and investment on our Main Street which is working in coordination with more rooted commerce and community assets such as The Roxbury and RAG.”
The December 3 event is a potluck dinner, so please bring along a dish to pass. Soft drinks and adult beverages will be provided by the GRBA and the air will be filled with some of your favorite holiday tunes and dance music.
This gathering of local businesses, organizations, and community members is the perfect place to mingle and network and is free and open to the public—you do not need to be a member to attend. A suggested donation of $10 will help GRBA advance its mission to continue to foster economic development opportunities in Roxbury.
