Robert Andrew Pasternak, 34, of Round Top, N.Y., passed away Thursday, March 26, 2009 at his residence. He was born April 9, 1974 in Watertown, the son of Robert and Doris (Duncan) Pasternak.
He was a graduate of Gilboa Central School, Gilboa and had served in the U.S. Navy.
Robert was a contractor and the owner of “Proud American Builders.”
He will be remembered as having a love of his motorcycles, music, fishing, helping a friend and laughing. He was proud of being a “Country Boy,” Patriot. His greatest love was spending time with his beloved daughter, Jenna Jules.
Surviving are his mother, Doris Pasternak, Prattsville; daughter, Jenna Pasternak, Prattsville; sister, Julie and (Stan) Bullock, Grand Gorge; brother, James and (Eileen) Pasternak, Prattsville. Also surviving are nephews, Robert Van Etten and Liam Bullock, Grand Gorge,; nieces, Anna Andose, Long Island and Chelsea Simmons, Oneonta and several aunts and uncles and many, many friends. He is also survived by his best friend and partner, Tricia Jiraud and her three children, Jessie and Kyle Deyo and Joseph Jiraud, Round Top, N.Y.
Funeral services were held Sunday, March 29 at 3 p.m. at the Prattsville Methodist Church, Prattsville with Rev. Elliott Oakes officiating.
Committal services will take place at a later date.
Arrangements were by Miller Funeral Home, Roxbury.
