10 acres in Bovina
When Dan Stabin decided that he wanted to relocate to upstate New York he started his search in the Catskills. What he wanted…was to build a house on a parcel of land that offered privacy and also a spectacular view. When he began his search…he came upon the perfect spot…10 acres on the side of a rolling hill located in Bovina…owned by Don Farley. An agreement for purchase was quickly made and Dana will begin building his dream home this spring! The property was listed and sold by Carol Spinelli of Coldwell Banker Timberland Properties.

Tomasone property
Congratulations to Jim and Diane Ropenus on their recent purchase of the Tomasone property at the top of Bailey Road Spur in the Town of Roxbury. The charming cabin with its spectacular views, over 20 acres of open meadow and woods will provide a fabulous retreat for the Ropenus family for years to come. The property was listed exclusively and sold by Chris DiCorato and Paula Loesel, associate brokers, with Coldwell Banker Timberland Properties.

Grand Gorge property
Catskill Realty Management Corp.; owned by Kennie Cartwright and Robin Tischmacher, has sold a 2,500 SF Village fixer upper in Grand Gorge to Ovidiu and Camelia Iorgovan from Glendale. Acres of landscape
Thomas and Cynthia Overacker invested in the Catskills several years ago as they knew the area would be forever protected. They have parted ways with one of the nicest parcels of land I have ever shown in the Town of Harpersfield; 17 acres of pristine landscape and trophy views. The new owners, John and Melanie Cocomazzi from Mahopac will someday build their dream home. The property was exclusively listed by Carol Spinelli, licensed sales associate, and sold by Stacy S. Keck, associate broker, both from Coldwell Banker Timberland Properties.

Camping retreat
Kevin and Lisa Pejril have sold their summer Catskill Mountain camping retreat on seven acres in the Town of Roxbury. They will miss the property but are pleased the new owners, Johnnie and Donna Kirk from Sayville will continue their tradition of summer camping, swimming in the pond and long summer hikes. The property was exclusively listed and sold by Stacy S. Keck, associate broker from Coldwell Banker Timberland Properties.

Ranch home
Karen Buck has sold her ranch home on the south end of Middlebrook Hill Road in Harpersfield to Chris VanZandt. This was a cooperative sale, listed by Paula Loesel an associate broker with Coldwell Banker Timberland Properties out of the Stamford office and sold by Bob Reiter an associate broker with the Frank Lumia Agency. Chris, a first-time homebuyer is happy with his “new” home and thrilled to be building equity as opposed to paying rent.

Gilboa acreage
Thomas DeGuisseppe of Stamford recently sold 3+ acres of vacant land on Meeghan Road in Gilboa to Stephen and Gayle McDonald of Staatsburg. The McDonalds plan to build a home on the property to enjoy the beautiful views. The land was listed exclusively with Chris DiCorato and sold by Jill Ogden, both associate brokers with Coldwell Banker Timberland Properties.

Oliverea property
Pam Farucci and Joe Farucci have sold their beautiful 17-acre property in Oliverea on the Esopus Creek adjoining state land, to Jon and Lori Rocker. The family looks forward to enjoying the property and building their dream home overlooking the Catskill Forest Preserve. The property was exclusively listed and sold by Ben Fenton of Coldwell Banker Timberland Properties.

Wladyslawa Matong has sold her two-bedrom, cedar shingle sided, vacation home on five private acres with sound of stream and views off a dead-end road in Andes, to Anthony and Debra DeMeo of Mastic. The new owners look forward to working on projects around their new home.
