Real Estate Changes: August 26, 2009

Valley High
Jackie and Gale Wilson are the new owners of the former Valley High situated between Margaretville and Andes on NYS Route 28. The Wilsons have big plans to bring back some life to the old property. The sellers, Peter and Joann Fudicca, still own a residence in the Town of Andes. The property was listed and sold by Susan Doig, associate broker/sales manager of Coldwell Banker Timberland Properties.

Lodge-style house
David Jaimes has just bought a spectacular “Adirondack Lodge” style house made of native fieldstone and cedar shake shingles from Clifford Ohle. The house sits on five acres with a beautiful view straight down the Dry Brook stream. The house has two bedrooms, one bathroom and two magnificent stone fireplaces. The house was listed exclusively by Ron Guichard of Ron Guichard Real Estate and sold by John Tufillaro, licensed real estate salesperson with Coldwell Banker Timberland Properties.

Vacant land
Carmela Asaro of Gardiner has sold 35+ acres of vacant land on East Bramley Mountain Road in the Town of Bovina to James Marshall of Holbrook. Marshall plans to eventually build a home to take advantage of the land’s dramatic mountain views. The property was exclusively listed and sold by Jill Ogden, associate broker with Coldwell Banker Timberland Properties.

Margaretville home
Daniela and George Conway of New Jersey have purchased a home on Bull Run Road in Margaretville from Janet Cohen of Brooklyn. The Conways are looking forward to creating a gem out of this project house. The home was listed by Susan Doig and sold by Jill Ogden, both associate brokers with Coldwell Banker Timberland Properties.
