Proposed county bed tax to be discussed at March 25 meeting
The Delaware County Chamber of Commerce, along with Town of Middletown Supervisor Marge Miller, is sponsoring a meeting on Tuesday, March 25 at 5:30 p.m. at the Middletown Town Hall, 42339 State Highway 28, to discuss the potential bed tax law for Delaware County, as well as other options for increasing tourism marketing for the County.
This informational meeting is primarily for the local lodging business community to voice concerns, get answers to questions they may have in regards to the proposed law as well as discuss other options for the county’s tourism budget, as the money from the potential bed tax is intended to more adequately fund tourism promotion.
While this meeting is targeted at the lodging community, all members of the tourism community are welcome.
