Police News: February 13, 2013
Rafael Figueroa, 33, of Denver was charged with fourth-degree criminal mischief after he was stopped by State Police on Route 28 in the Town of Middletown on February 7. The charge stemmed from a January 21 accident in which Figueroa drove his vehicle into a Route 30, Margaretville home causing extensive damage. He was previously charged with speeding, moving from a lane unsafely, driving on the shoulder and leaving the scene of a property damage accident.
He was issued an appearance ticket returned in Middletown Town Court on February 21.
Jeremy Jenkins, 28, of Florida, NY was stopped by State Police on county Route 38, Arkville on February 4 and was charged with speeding, unlicensed operation and aggravated unlicensed operation. He was issued an appearance ticket returnable February 14 in Middletown Court.
Joshua Nava, 25, of Margaretville was charged with speeding and aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle. after he was stopped for speeding on Route 28 in the Town of Middletown on February 8. He was issued an appearance ticket returnable February 21 in Middletown Court.
The Delaware County Sheriffs Deputies arrested Stephanie White for Driving While Intoxicated on February 10. She is charged with having a blood alcohol content above .08 percent, aggravated unlicensed operation in the third-degree, having an open alcoholic container in motor vehicle and uninspected motor vehicle. White was also charged with unlawful possession of marijuana. She was released on an appearance ticket and traffic summons to appear before the Town of Delhi Court on February 19.
Delaware County Deputies arrested Zacharia Johnson, 19, of Walton on January 28 on charges of menacing in the third degree, endangering the welfare of a child and harassment in the second degree. The arrest came from an alleged domestic dispute that occurred in the Town of Hamden. He was arraigned by Judge Gumo in the Town of Delhi and remanded to the Delaware County Correctional facility in lieu of $250.
