New Kingston Valley Grange held its first meeting of the year since they closed the hall after their December meeting.
Master Edwin Vermilyea presented Doris Hosier a certificate and a 60-year pin as a member for all these years. She first became a member of the Delaware Valley Grange in Roxbury.
Chairman of the Activity Committee announced that a game night will be held the 27th of May at 6:30, finger food for refreshments. Thelma Ruff also announced that the sewing ladies will meet the 29th at 10 o’clock; bring your lunch.
Lecturer Sandra had a reading on Mother’s Day and announced the following birthdays for the month: Marjorie Tweedie was on the first, Thelma Ruff 19th, Barbara Clark 20th; anniversary is David and Georgia Taylor, the 17th. Next meeting will be June 4th.
A reminder that the Presbyterian Church will be having a rummage sale Saturday, May 23 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., held at the Presbyterian Church in Margaretville on Orchard Street.
