New Kingston Valley Grange held its regular meeting Thursday night. Several members took a collection for the Food Bank. The Lecturer, Sandra Greene, announced the birthdays of Lynda Ploutz the 18th, Loretta Keator 29th, Sandra Greene 27th and Marian Schimmel 31st. Anniversaries: Bud and Peg Barnes the 27th. She read a story on Christmas.
Members Ed and Janet Vermilyea, Anthony and Lynda Ploutz, Marian Schimmet and Tillie Fairbairn attended the anniversary of Colonel Harper Grange Hall at Harpersfield Tuesday night December 1. At the meeting last month they voted to send a donation to the Little Delaware Youth Ensemble. Curtis and Cedric, sons of Ken and Amy Taylor, play in it.
The Grange held its Christmas Party Saturday afternoon. The hall will be closed up and no meetings until May.
Chuck and Maryann Schmiser of Naponoch, visited her mother and brother Faye VanBenschoten and son Andy during the Thanksgiving weekend.
Mary McCormick of Louisiana visited her parents Bill and Betty Eilliott last week. Sunday they visited their son-in-law and daughter Roy and Sally Scrimshaw at Delhi.
Thanksgiving week Major Kevin Wisniewski and wife Jenny and sons Tyler and Alex of Charlotte, N.C. spent from Wednesday to Saturday with his Grandmother Wanda Lanzi. Frank and Rosemary Wisniewski of Highland Falls spent from Wednesday to Monday. Scott Wisniewski and Candice Garcia of Middletown and Ila Faulkner also spent Thanksgiving Day with Wanda Lanzi.
Fred Lanzi of Wendell left early Sunday morning of this week for home after spending a week with his mother Wanda Lanzi.
Doug and Barb Condon were Thanksgiving guests of his nephew Louis and Gale Dibble at Delhi.
