Local businesswoman on Health Foundation board

Carmen Lopez of Fleischmanns has been appointed to the Margaretville Health Foundation Board of Directors. She is president and owner of Litho Net Inc. a direct mail management, production, and marketing company previously located in New York City. She permanently relocated her home and business to this area in 2008 after several years of part time residency. She is a graduate of Staten Island College.
Past local business affiliations arose from the devastation brought on by Hurricane Irene, whereby ShopMargaretville was formed. ShopMargaretville sponsored Main Street events to bring the business and local community together. ShopMargaretville metamorphosed into the Binnekill Business Council which successfully sponsored gardenFest in 2012 and in 2013 of which she served on the planning committee. She also co-chaired the Margaretville Hospital Auxiliary 2013 Harvest Moon Ball to a sold out success. Lopez served on the board of directors of a NYC co-op she resided in from 1992 through 1998.
In making the announcement, Heather Brighton, chair of the foundation’s board of directors said, “Carmen will be a wonderful asset to the foundation with her background in marketing. We are thrilled to have her join the board.”
