Local author will be speaker at RLA program

Roxbury — Diane Galusha, author of Liquid Assets: The Story of New York City’s Water System, will discuss the creation of the Pepacton Reservoir at the Roxbury Library on Tuesday, Oct. 8 at 1 p.m.
Galusha is Communications Director and Education Coordinator of the Catskill Watershed Corporation, the non-profit local development corporation that offers many environmental protection, economic development, and education programs in the Catskill-Delaware-NYC Watershed. She is the author of five books focusing on local and regional history, is President of the Historical Society of the Town of Middletown, and is a member of the Board of Trustees of Woodchuck Lodge, the Roxbury home of naturalist John Burroughs.
