Hinchey, Murphy, DiNapoli among Democratic Dinner guests

Delhi — Several invited guests will be in attendance at the Delaware County Democratic dinner on Saturday, June 20 at the SUNY Delhi Hospitality Center.
Those expected to speak to those gathered are state Comptroller Thomas DiNapoli; Representatives in Congress Scott Murphy (D-20-Glens Falls) and Maurice Hinchey (D-22-Hurley); June O’Neil, the state Democratic committee chair; and Irene Stein, who chairs the state Rural Democrats. A special guest, who will also address the gathering, will be Stamford Central School freshman Diedra Hill from the Town of Harpersfield, who has been nominated to represent her school at the summer 2009 National Young Leaders’ Conference in Washington, D.C.
Tickets for the dinner, which begins at 6 p.m., following a 5 p.m. social hour, may be obtained, before June 15, from members of the respective town committees. They may also be purchased online by visiting the county committee’s website, www.delawarecountydems.org.
Tickets will not be available at the door.
