Free rabies clinics in Andes and Arkville

The Delaware County Public Health Service will hold free rabies vaccination clinics in Andes and Arkville during the month of May. The first will be in Andes on Friday, May 8 and will be held at the Andes Firehall Pavilion from 5 to 7 p.m.
The second will be on Friday, May 29 at the Arkville Firehall, also from 5 to 7 p.m.
Cats and dogs are eligible for their first rabies vaccine at three months of age. Pets must be confined while at the clinics.
If you would like your pet to receive a vaccine that is good for three years you must bring proof of a previous vaccine.
By law, every dog and cat must be vaccinated against rabies by four months of age.
