Florence Elizabeth Pultz, a resident of Liberty, and formerly of Fleischmanns, died Thursday, April 17, 2014 at the Achieve Rehabilitation & Nursing Facility in Liberty with her daughter and son in law by her side.
She was born May 2, 1926 in Shavertown, the daughter of Burdette W. and Isabel (Trepak) Mason.
She was the wife of the late Robert P. Pultz Sr. who pre-deceased her in 1998. They were married August 24, 1945 at Grand Gorge.
Florence enjoyed knitting, crocheting, and reading. In 1964, after living in Fleischmanns, she moved to Monticello.
She is survived by her daughter and son in law, Sharon and Ed Craft; granddaughter, Tiffany (Juan) Abreu; grandson, Joshua Pultz, and great grand children, Nikko and Jazmin Abreu. “Ma you have left us with many loving and funny memories to cherish forever.”
She was predeceased by son, Robert Pultz Jr. who died February 17, 2014.
A funeral mass will be celebrated at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 26, 2014 at the Sacred Heart Church, Margaretville, with the Rev. Steven Scarmozzino as celebrant.
A committal services will follow at the Clovesville Cemetery in Fleischmanns.
A calling hour will be held from 1 until 2 p.m. at the Hynes Funeral Home, Margaretville on Saturday prior to the funeral mass.
