Finland was wedding site
Sarah Emilia Lillvik and Casey Nilsen Moore were married on July 31, 2010 in Jakobstad, Finland with the Rev. Micheal Lidman officiating. A reception for 70 guests followed the wedding ceremony. The bride is the daughter of Bengt and Gunborg Lillvik of Jakobstad, Finland. The bridegroom is the son of Randy and Pat Moore of Margaretville.
Emma Lillvik was her sister’s maid of honor.
Ros and Marcus Moore shared the honor of being their brother’s best man.
The bride attended Margaretville Central School as a Rotary International exchange student, where the couple met, and graduated from high school in Jakobstad. She is currently a student at Slippery Rock University in Slippery Rock, Pa.
The bridegroom is a graduate of Margaretville Central School and Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree as a chemistry major. He is currently seeking employment in the Pittsburgh, Pa. area.
The couple is at home in Slippery Rock, Pa.
Out-of-town guests at the wedding in Finland, in addition to his brothers, included the bridegroom’s parents, Randy and Pat Moore, and his aunt and cousin, Barbara Dickson and Susan Dickson of Dallas, Texas.
Upon their return to Margaretville, the Moore family held a reception for the newlyweds at their camp on Cole Hill near Margaretville. Fifty family members and friends attended.
The couple repeated their wedding vows in a civil ceremony before Town of Middletown Justice Gary Rosa on August 10, 2010 at the Margaretville home of Mrs. Aileen Moore, the bridegroom’s grandmother.
