Event was highlight of the season

To The Editor:
We attended the Labor Day performance of the 77th Regimental Balladeers at the Historical Society Hall.  This, to me, was the highlight of all of the summer season events in Middletown.  The music was inspiring, fun, nostalgic, and just plain enjoyable.  This group specializes in the music of the Civil War era and is based in Windham.

If this type of program is ever repeated around here, I highly recommend it.  This performance was just about standing room only and for very good reason.  Congratulations to the Middletown Historical Society and especially Diane Galusha for bring this remarkable and talented group to our Village.
