Delaware League All-Stars named for fall sports

The Delaware League has announced its all-star teams for the 2013 fall sports season.

Golf stars
Earning first team all-star recognition in golf were Mychal Grant and Ben Standhard of Gilboa-Conesville, Dylan Legg of Hunter-Tannersville, Kyle Short and Eric Mathiesen of Margaretville, Tyler Lamport of South Kortright/Andes, and Dan Marino and Skyler Schoonmaker of Windham.

Earning second team all-star recognition in golf were Zach and Hunter Perry of Gilboa-Conesville, Chase Plattner of Hunter-Tannersville, Matt Van Valkenburg of Margaretville, Shannon Sprague of Roxbury, Matt Soule and Ryan Sluiter of South Kortright/Andes, and Ed Moran and Malcom Seamans of Windham.

Earning honorable mention all-star recognition in golf were Cole Fancher of Gilboa-Conesville, Zane Lewis of Hunter-Tannersville, James Quagliano of Jefferson, James Warner and Dylan Shaffer of Margaretville, Isaac Walker of Roxbury, Schuyler German of South Kortright/Andes, Matt Anderson of Stamford, and Lawrence Lamanec, and Luke Rasmussen of Windham.

Earning first team all star recognition in girls’ soccer were Sarah Haight of Davenport, Kaileen Townsend and Leigha La Tourette of Downsville, Taylor Mattice and Shelby Oliver of Gilboa, Samantha Dibble of Hunter, Emily Wenner of Jeffersen, Kaitlin Short of Margaretville, Lisa Boyke and Shannon Sprague of Roxbury, Brianna Laing and Tori Rockefeller of South Kortright, Kim Freer of Stamford and Mattie Seamons of Windham.
