Danny Lowit show at Zoom Gallery

Fleischmanns — Zoom Gallery will open an exhibit of photographs by Danny Lowit on September 4. An opening reception will be held that day from 1-4 p. m. at the gallery located at 1033 Main Street, Fleischmanns. Refreshments will be served.

Danny Lowit is a New York City photographer with ties to Fleischmanns. He has shown his work at various galleries and venues, as well as winning an IPA-Lucie Honorable Mention Award for his landscape work.  With a Master of Philosophy and Master of Arts, both in linguistics, he is equally at home with a pen as he is with a camera.  When he combines his instruments, he winds up with startling city landscape photos as well as titles; which further the viewers’ understanding. 

The public is invited to view this remarkable body of Lowit’s work which will be on display for six weeks.

“Ideally, I would want people to find in my work a part of themselves, that is, what they can link to their own perceptions,” says Lowit.
