Cookie exchange at Fairview

A Cookie Exchange is planned at the Fairview Public Library in Margaretville on Wednesday, Dec. 19 at 5:30 p.m.

The library’s first annual Cookie Exchange is an event to help get community members into the holiday spirit, by visiting with friends, old and new. Visitors will share homemade cookies and sample baked

goods made by everyone else.
Participants should bring three dozen cookies to share; then they will take home with as many cookies as they bring.

Library Director Susan Carver noted, “Be sure to also bring extra cookies for everyone to sample and a large container to take home your delicious bounty.”

If possible, folks planning to take part in the Cookie Exchange are asked to drop off their cookie recipes at the library at 43 Walnut Street, Margaretville or e-mail (fairviewpubliclibrary@yahoo.com) their recipe before the event so the library can make copies for everyone.

Coffee, tea and hot chocolate will be provided. Pre-registration is required for the Cookie Exchange.
For additional information, please contact the Fairview at 586-3791 or fairviewpubliclibrary@
yahoo.com to register.
