Congregation Bnai Israel celebrates 90th year
Congregation Bnai Israel in Fleischmanns celebrates its 90th year with Sabbath services led by Rabbi Moshe Pomerantz, and Hebrew classes for intermediate and beginning students conducted by both Rabbi Moshe and Kay Pomerantz. A special musical program is planned to culminate the celebration at summer’s end.
All are welcome to participate in services Friday evenings at 7 p.m. and Saturday mornings at 9 a.m., and are invited to join the Sunday Hebrew classes at 9:30 a.m.
For those who want to sing, the group will meet at 10:45 a.m., on Sunday mornings.
Congregation Bnai Israel is an egalitarian synagogue affiliated with the United Synagogue for Conservative Judaism.
Located on Wagner Avenue in Fleischmanns, the synagogue building is on the National Register of Historic Places.
Congregation Bnai Israel maintains a cemetery in Fleischmanns.
