Cheryl E. Maxim, age 62, resident of Woodridge, and formerly of the Margaretville area, died February 10, 2013 at Harris.
She was born August 18, 1950 at Margaretville, daughter of Charles and Patricia (Budd) Maxim.
Cheryl married Michael Stahl on April 2, 2010 at Goshen.
She graduated from Fleischmanns Central School in 1968. She graduated from Pace University in 1981 and her law degree from Pace in 1985.
Cheryl practiced private law in Liberty before joining the Children’s Right Society in Orange County for the past 15 years.
She loved knitting, crocheting, playing Scrabble and family holidays.
Surviving are her husband Michael Stahl; her mother, Patricia Maxim of Arkville; a brother and sister-in-law, Charles and Gail Maxim of Kingston; a sister Tracey Bonne, and her partner, John Maniaci, of Gilboa; nephews Cory Maxim and his wife, Beth; Drew Frano, Dustin Frano and Matthew Bonne; a niece Amy Maxim Crantz and husband, Nicholas; two great-nephews and one great-niece.
Calling hours will be held at the Hynes Funeral Home, in Margaretville on Thursday February 14 from 2-5 p.m. when a family service will be held for Cheryl.
