Catskill Cabradio is March 13

Pine Hill — It’s time to crawl or shovel your way out and reconnect with friends and neighbors for a fun-filled free evening on Saturday, March 13 from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Pine Hill Community Center on Main Street in Pine Hill.
For over two years Catskill Community Radio has brought a veritable Who’s Who of area residents to local and international audiences with its “Catskill Cabaradio” live show and webcast. This edition will feature Perry Beekman, entertainer extraordinaire, author Marth Frankel (“Hats and Glasses,” “Brazilian Sexy”), and Barbara Mansfield, founder of the Killian Mansfield Foundation.
After a lively potluck supper from 6 to 7 p.m., the house lights dim and the show begins. The Cabaradio House Band, led by Mick Waldman, strikes up a lively tune and host Elly Wininger gets the ball rolling.  As usual, spontaneity and surprises abound, especially when popular know-it-all Dorothy Greenberg answers a variety of questions from the house audience with her advice during the “Your Mother Should Know” segment.
In addition to being a highly entertaining evening for all ages, each Cabaradio is an important outreach and awareness building event for the radio station which provides 24 hours a day of programming generated by members of the Catskills community.
Everything from Irish music to Latin Jazz to classical and spoken word can be heard on Catskill Community Radio, as well as the station’s signature GORP show featuring musicians from the five counties of the Catskills exclusively.
Both Catskill Community Radio ( and Cabaradio are run by a group of dedicated volunteers, with support from the Pine Hill Community Center.
