On Thursday, July 10, 2014, a youth who had an impact on many people with his contagious smile and laugh passed away at the Albany Medical Center.
Bryce Cole, 7, died after a courageous battle with brain and spine cancer, which he had for the past five months.
No longer in pain, he has completed his mission on earth. How blessed we were that God chose us to be his family.
Bryce is survived by many family and friends including his parents, Michael and Juanita Cole; brothers, Dakota and Trenton; a sister, Montanna; maternal grandmother, Emily Gray and many special aunts, uncles, and cousins. He leaves behind his pets, Ace, Coco, Benji, and Thomas, his guinea pig, who comforted him when he was in pain.
Bryce was predeceased by paternal grandparents, Millard and Dorothy Cole, and maternal grandfather, Andrew Gray. Bryce loved hot rods, trucks, motorcycles, fishing, sports, and most of all, his family.
A memorial celebration for Bryce will be held at the South Kortright Central School on Tuesday July 15, 2014 at 6 p.m. with Rev. Richard Dykstra, officiating.
Donations in memory of Bryce Cole may be made to the Ronald McDonald House in Albany, Give Kids, or the Make a Wish Foundation.
Arrangements are entrusted to the Miller Funeral home, Roxbury.
