Bruce A. Dugliss, 60, formerly of Phoenicia, died Thursday, Sept. 17, 2009 at the home of his daughter in Fayetteville. He was a lifetime area resident, who began summer vacationing, and later became a full-time resident.
Bruce had worked at Benedictine Hospital in the HVAC maintenance department, and more recently at Hunter Panels in Kingston as the line engineer.
He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed recreational fishing. His passion was restoring antique and classic cars. He was handy and would tinker with things around the property.
Surviving are his two daughters, Stacey (Chris) Wesselman of Brooklyn and Jennifer (Fergal) McCaul of Fayetteville; a son, Jeffrey (Michele) Dugliss of Tampa, Fla., and a sister, Marilyn (Don) Tracy of Susquehanna, Pa.
A service to celebrate the life of Bruce Dugliss will be held on Thursday, Sept. 27 from 5-7 p.m. at the E.B. Gormley Funeral Home, 87 Main St., Phoenicia.
