Blues Maneuver will rock Stamford's 76 MAIN! venue
Stamford — The Blues Maneuver, one of the Catskill region’s premier dance bands for more than a decade, will perform at the newly reopened Carriage House at RAG’s 76 MAIN! in Stamford on Saturday, Aug. 22 at 7:30 p.m. In what promises to be the dance of the summer, the six-piece band will rock the place with their eclectic repertoire ranging from ’40s tunes to swing, Motown and classic R&B. Admission is $10.
Featuring front man/vocalist/trombonist David (Luther) Krajicek; music director Jesse (Guitar King) Cohen on lead guitar and alto saxophone; Rebecca Harrington, a talented vocalist who leads the band’s Chicken Shack horn section, on tenor sax, flute and trumpet; vocalist John Heney on bass; vocalist/percussionist John Kincheloe, and Ira McIntosh, another vocalist who plays guitar and mandolin, the group combines top-notch musicianship, impeccable vocals harmonies and a mighty horn section.
The Blues Maneuver released its second recording for Five-Star Entertainment in 2008, “Bona Fide Flip Side Rhythm & Blues,” which features a number of great B-side R&B tunes.
