Blues Maneuver will rock Dance-a-thon
Blues Maneuver play at the third annual Dance-a-Thon on Saturday, April 18 at 7 p.m. at Belleayre Mountain’s Upper Lodge in Highmount.
The event is a fund-raiser for the Auxiliary of Margaretville Hospital and Mountainside Residential Care Center.
While dance lessons will one again be part of the action, the evening’s focus will be on hitting the dance floor and socializing.
The evening will feature just about every type of music in the skilled hands of Blue Maneuver. In addition, Rose and Gordy Stahl will demonstrate and teach country line dancing, and professional dance teacher Kyla Marion will offer some new swing steps.
There’ll be a generous buffet dinner, topped off by a huge assortment of homemade desserts supplied by auxiliary members.
There will also be door prizes and a silent auction, with many great prizes, including an iPod donated by Tekserve and a family weekend for four from Frost Valley YMCA in Claryville.
Tickets are $30 in advance and $35 at the door. You’re encouraged to make your purchases early because last year’s event was sold out.
Tickets may be purchased at the new Auxiliary Thrift Shop, 850 Main Street, Margaretville, opposite B&D Motors.
In addition, checks payable to the Margaretville Hospital Auxiliary (along with a stamped self-addressed envelope), may be mailed to Pat Kolar c/o Margaretville Hospital, 42084 state Highway 28, Margaretville, NY 12455.
For further information, please call Mrs. Kolar at 845 586-2631, ext. 3145.
