Bill Ennis gets advancement post
Stamford, CT — King Low Heywood Thomas (King) school has announced that Bill Ennist has been named associate head of school, advancement. Ennist assumes this position having served King as associate head of school for one year, and head of upper school for nine years. During this past year, Ennist was responsible for the coordination of King’s rebranding initiative and oversight of the marketing and communications functions of the school. In his new role, Ennist will continue to oversee the office of Marketing & Communications, along with the offices of Development, Annual Giving, and Alumni Relations.
“Bill brings a wide range of experience and talents to this position,” said Tom Main, head of school. “As a longtime employee of the school, he has a profound understanding of our institutional and educational programs. His great talents of organization, the development of systems, and follow up are precisely some of the most important qualities for this position. He is off to a great start, and we are looking forward to a great year.”
Ennist is in his 11th-year at King, having served as administrator, teacher, and coach at Rye Country Day School previously. He holds a B.A. from Union College, an M.A. from Yale University, and an M.A. from Fairfield University.
Ennist is the son of William and June Ennist of Pine Hill.
