Bazaar is Saturday at Roxbury Library

Roxbury — The Roxbury Library Association (RLA) will hold its annual Holiday Bazaar at the Roxbury Library on Saturday, Dec. 6 from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
The RLA’s Annual Holiday Bazaar will offer holiday shoppers the opportunity to purchase delicious bake sale items and quality RLA Thrift Shoppe merchandise, Irma Mae Griffin’s History of the Town of Roxbury, and 2008 Boy-and-Girl Crib Quilt raffle tickets while children visit with Roxbury Rotary-sponsored Santa Claus.
The Roxbury Library Association encourages parents to bring cameras to photograph children with Santa, although the RLA will make the library’s Polaroid, upon request, available to parents without cameras.
A special feature of this year’s Annual Holiday Bazaar will be a book-signing event for the newly published children’s Christmas tale “Santa Horse” by Judy Tapler. “Santa Horse” illustrator Michelle Kohler, daughter of Lois and Miles Kohler of Roxbury, will provide copies of the book for purchase and will autograph purchased copies.
Located at 53742 state Highway 30, the Roxbury Library is directly opposite the town’s United Methodist Church on Main Street. For further information about the 2008 RLA Annual Holiday Bazaar, please contact Roxbury Library Director Dian Seiler or Roxbury Library Clerk Helen Faraci at 607 326-7901.
