Bank CEO Robert Armstrong to address Andes Roundtable
Andes — The public is invited to hear Robert Armstrong, CEO of the Delaware National Bank of Delhi, speak at the Andes Roundtable on Wednesday, Aug. 1 at 7 p.m. The presentation will be held at the Hunting Tavern on Main Street in Andes.
Armstrong is a life-long resident of Delaware County and has been involved in banking for the past 25 years. His discussion will include his views on the current banking crisis, how it happened and the measures required to extricate ourselves from it.
The interface between large banking investment houses and local regional banks will be discussed. The impacts of current banking issues on our personal finances will also be examined. Armstrong’s illuminating observations will provide a good foundation for the public as he discusses the impact of banking on real estate, employment, retirement and economic development in Delaware County.
Coffee and cookies will be served. There is a $2 admission/donation fee.
