State Senator John J. Bonacic (R/I/C – Mount Hope) announced last week that five Delaware County arts organizations will receive state aid totaling $145,500.
Bonacic said that the grants range from $7,400 to $63,100 for a variety of programs and their design, creation and advancement in Delaware County. The groups receiving funding are: The Catskill Center for Conservation and Development, $30,000; Foundation for The Open Eye, $7,400; Franklin Stock Co. @ Chapel Hall, $8,800; The Roxbury Arts Group, $63,700 and Bright Hill Press, $35,600.
“Our region boasts a long tradition of promoting the arts and enriching our culture that we can all be proud of. I always have and will continue to support the local groups that do such an excellent job in making our area a colorful place to live and visit,” concluded Senator Bonacic.
