Area Police News: October 19, 2011

Jeffrey C. Stoop, 30, of DeLancey was arrested by state police on October 8 and charged with DWI after he was stopped on Route 10 in Delhi for a traffic violation. Police say they charged Stoop when his blood alcohol level allegedly tested .16 percent.
Stoop was issued traffic tickets returnable in Town of Delhi Justice Court on October 18.

Alan W. Cobb, 19, of Roxbury was arrested by state police on October 9 and charged with second-degree harassment and fourth-degree menacing following an argument with his mother.
Cobb was arraigned in Town of Roxbury Justice Court and released pending further court action.

Frank S. Segreto, 59, of Oakdale was arrested by state police on October 9 and charged with DWAI after he was stopped for speeding on county Route 38 in Arkville. Police say they charged Segreto when his blood alcohol allegedly tested .06 percent.
He was issued traffic tickets returnable in Town of Middletown Justice Court on November 1.

Elaina M. White, 32, of Hamden was arrested by state police on October 5 and charged with DWI after she allegedly failed to stop at a stop sign in the Price Chopper parking lot in Delhi. Police say they charged White when her blood alcohol level allegedly tested .22 percent.
She was issued several uniform traffic tickets, including the DWI charge, returnable in Town of Delhi Justice Court.

Megan D. Madore, 24, of Hobart was arrested by state police on October 15 and charged with DWI after she was stopped on Reed Road in Kortright for a traffic violation. Police say they charged Madore when her blood alcohol level allegedly tested .15 percent.
She was issued an appearance ticket returnable in Town of Kortright Justice Court.

Richard E. Doherty, 54, of Woodside was arrested by state police on October 10 and charged with DWI, third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and several traffic violations after he struck a parked excavator on county Highway 36 in Kelly Corners.
Police say Doherty suffered an arm injury and was treated at Margaretville Hospital before he was arrested.
He was issued tickets returnable in Middletown Court on October 20.
