Area Police News: Oct. 1, 2008
Howard J. Slavin, 47, of Fleischmanns was arrested by state police Wednesday and charged with second-degree harassment for allegedly harassing his ex-wife’s boyfriend over the phone. Slavin was issued a criminal summons and is to appear in Middletown Justice Court on October 6. The court also issued an order of protection in the case.
Pamela G. Stock, 51, of Gilboa was arrested Thursday and charged with DWI after she was stopped on Route 10 in Stamford for a traffic violation. Police say they charged Stock when her blood alcohol content allegedly tested .10 percent. Stock was issued a summons returnable in Village of Stamford Justice Court on October 15.
Peter Dufton, 34, of Cadosia was arrested by state police Saturday and charged with DWI following a one-car accident on Route 10 in Walton. State police say Dufton was southbound on Route 10 when his car went off the road and flipped over coming to rest on private property. Dufton was taken to Delaware Valley Hospital in Walton where he was treated for leg and shoulder injuries.
Frank Constable, 36, of Stamford was arrested Friday by state police and charged with unlawful imprisonment on a warrant issued by the Village of Stamford Justice Court.
Constable was arraigned and released to reappear on October 15.
