Area Police News: November 23, 2011

Meghan Peck, 19, of Andes sustained serious head injuries after a one-vehicle accident on Wolf Hollow Road in the Town of Andes that took place about 7:40 p.m. on Sunday. State police said that Peck was traveling east at an unsafe speed when she lost control of the 2000 Dodge pickup she was driving and struck a ditch. The truck became airborne before striking a tree. Peck was thrown from the vehicle.
The Andes Fire Department Ambulance responded to the scene and Peck was airlifted to the Albany Medical Center. She was issued tickets for driving while intoxicated, failure to keep right, unsafe speed and not wearing a seat belt.

Dodie Perry, 41, of Grand Gorge was arrested by state police on November 16 on a bench warrant issued by the Town of Middletown Justice Court.
Perry was arraigned and then sent to the county jail without bail to reappear in court at a later date.

Alexander M. Falank, 18, of Endicott was arrested by state police on November 20 and charged with DWI after he was stopped on Main Street in Delhi for a traffic violation.
Police say they charged Falank when his blood alcohol level allegedly tested .10 percent.
He was issued appearance tickets returnable in Town of Delhi Justice Court on December 6 at 9 a.m.

Diana E. Leduc, 63, of the Bronx was arrested by state police on November 11 and charged with driving with a suspended license after she was stopped for speeding on Route 28 in the Town of Middletown.
Leduc was arraigned in Town of Middletown Justice Court where she posted $500 cash bail to await a later court appearance.

Narvin Badal, 30, of Kortright was arrested by state police on November 18 and charged with DWAI drugs after he was stopped on county Route 18 in the Town of Stamford for a traffic violation.
Police say they charged Badal after they allegedly found three grams of marijuana in Badal’s vehicle and he admitted to smoking marijuana while he was driving his vehicle.
He was issued an appearance ticket returnable in Town of Stamford on December 13.

Brenda A. Marlow, 46, of Schenevus was arrested by state police on November 19 and charged with DWAI following a minor traffic accident on Route 23 in the Town of Harpersfield.
Police say they charged Marlow when her blood alcohol level allegedly tested .06 percent. She was issued a ticket returnable in Harpersfield Court on Nov. 28.
