Area Police News: July 3, 2013

New York State Police and Roxbury Constable Steve Williamson are investigating a serious case of vandalism that happened late Monday night or early Tuesday morning at Shephard Hills Golf Club in Roxbury. Golf course owner Frank Adamiak told the News Tuesday morning that the damage, “will run into thousands of dollars.”
According to Adamiak, vandals drove golf carts on the course and its greens, which are soft from recent heavy rain, causing serious damage. They also ran the carts into a newly installed railing behind the clubhouse breaking it. They also broke flowerpots and other outside amenities and then vandalized several carts.
Adamiak is offering a reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for the damage. Delaware County Deputies arrested Tatsumi Suyama, 26, of Brooklyn on June 30 for fifth-degree criminal possession of marihuana. The arrest stems from an incident where it is alleged that Tatsumi was in possession of marijuana at the Little Pond state campground.
He was issued a ticket to appear in Andes Town Court of July 11 at 5 p.m.

Bradley V. Grant, 22, of Fleischmanns was arrested by state police on June 24 on a bench warrant issued by the Town of Middletown Justice Court charging him with second-degree aggravated harassment.
Following his arrest, Grant was released in his own recognizance pending further court action.

Suzanne M. Ball, 53, of Montclair, NJ was arrested by state police on June 25 and charged with unlicensed operation and aggravated unlicensed operation after she was stopped on Route 30 in Roxbury for a traffic violation.
Ball was arraigned in Town of Roxbury Justice Court and released on $200 cash bail to await further court action.

Garret D. Hinkley, 17, of Roxbury was arrested by state police on June 28 and charged with unlawful possession of alcohol by a person under 21 after he was stopped on Route 30 in Roxbury for a traffic violation.
Hinkley was issued an appearance ticket returnable in Town of Roxbury Justice Court on July 10 at 9 a.m.

Andre Smith, 20, of Glens Falls was arrested by state police on June 29 and charged with unlawful possession of marijuana after he was stopped on county Route 38 in the Town of Middletown.
Smith was issued an appearance ticket returnable in Town of Middletown Justice Court on July 25.

Benjamine J. Luxenberg, 23, of Boca Raton, FL was arrested by state police on June 30 and charged with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation after he was stopped for speeding on Route 28 in the Town of Middletown.
Luxenberg was arraigned in Town of Middletown Justice Court and released after posting $250 cash bail to await further court action on August 8 at 9 a.m.

Kimberly A. Bishop, 37, of Andes was arrested by state police on June 28 and charged with third-degree assault following a domestic dispute with her mother that allegedly lead to a physical altercation. Police say alcohol was involved in the incident.
Bishop was arraigned in Town of Andes Justice Court and remanded to the county jail in lieu of $500 cash bail to await further court action on July 23 at 1 p.m.
