It looks like all of the precautions scared Sandy away.
Here are the specifics from Walnut Street in Margaretville. The statistics from my Rainwise MK III weather station are as follows: From Sunday, Oct. 28 at 1 p.m. through Tuesday, Oct. 30 at 11 a.m. the cumulative rainfall was 1.71 inches. The peak wind gust was 28 mph.
Some predictions seemed more dire.
