Andes girls' team looking to rebuild

Andes co-coach Glenn Reynolds gave a huge sigh of relief Monday night when he learned that his senior point guard Gina Tait had not broken her wrist. With a roster decimated by graduation and the transfer of sharp-shooting point guard Mariah Ruff, losing Tait was one hit Reynolds would do anything to avoid.

Penalty kick downs rockets in sectional play

Perhaps it was the inspired play of the Jefferson JayHawks. Maybe the Roxbury Rockets were caught looking ahead. Whatever the cause, the sixth seeded Rockets saw their season end when they dropped a 2-1 decision to 11th seeded Jefferson last Tuesday at RCS.
