Haines City, Fla. — The 41st annual Delaware County Reunion will hold a potluck lunch for past and present residents of Delaware County on February 5 in Haines City, Florida at the First Presbyterian Church on 104 Scenic Hwy, Rt. 544, in Haines City.
Billy Fiedler, son of Dee and Bill Fiedler, has been named to the Dean’s List at Pace University in Manhattan, where he is majoring in criminal justice. Fiedler, a junior, has a grade point average of 3.7.
Chub Etts and Toni Scheck were married Christmas morning in the family home. Her son, David, and his girlfriend Rhoda were witnesses. Carol Ann Dykstra was also a guest.
Rev. Richard Dykstra performed the ceremony.
Following the ceremony the reception was catered at Cassie’s Café.
Kevin Johnson and Melissa Kent have announced their engagement. Kevin is from Arkville and the son of Lewis and Jackie Johnson.
Melissa is from Halcottsville and the daughter of John and Barbara Vreeland.
Kevin is employed at Roxbury Central School and Melissa is employed at CVS.
A 2010 wedding is planned.
The parents of Melanie Williams and Jerry Warner III have announced the engagement of their children. Melanie is the daughter of Edward and the late Leigh Williams of Denver. Jerry is the son of Jerry and Linda Warner Jr. of Stamford.
Emily and Lou Giorgi of New Kingston celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a family party on October 3 at Giovannis’ Water’s Edge Restaurant in Danbury, Conn. The party was hosted by the couple’s children; Louis Giorgi Jr. and Adelia Hunter, both of New Kingston, Margaret Giorgi Riehl of White Plains and Christopher Giorgi and his wife Elizabeth of Danbury.
Kathie Stepski and Scott Galbreath of Endicott have announced the birth of their son, Karden Michael, born on October 20, 2009 at Wilson Hospital in Johnson City. Karden weighed seven pounds, 15 ounces and was 20 and-a-half inches long.
Rena and David Baker of Highmount are the parents of a son, Colin William, born Thursday, Sept. 24, 2009 at Northern Dutchess Hospital in Rhinebeck. Colin weighed eight pounds, two ounces and was 21 inches long at birth.
