Brandon M. Galunas, 21, of Andes was arrested by state police on November 21 and charged with criminal mischief after he allegedly damaged a pickup truck belonging to an area man in what police say was a domestic incident. Police say the man had driven to Galunas’ home on Bussy Hollow Road to pick up his son’s girlfriend where the incident happened. Police said that alcohol was involved in the incident.
Galunas was issued an appearance ticket returnable in Town of Andes Justice Court on December 8 at 7 p.m.

Meghan Peck, 19, of Andes sustained serious head injuries after a one-vehicle accident on Wolf Hollow Road in the Town of Andes that took place about 7:40 p.m. on Sunday. State police said that Peck was traveling east at an unsafe speed when she lost control of the 2000 Dodge pickup she was driving and struck a ditch. The truck became airborne before striking a tree. Peck was thrown from the vehicle.

Lisa M. Skala, 28, of Arkville was arrested by state police on November 9 and charged with second-degree harassment following a series of events involving another local woman. Police say the incidents began earlier at work, continued later with name calling and then ended when Skala allegedly swerved into her lane on Route 28 in Arkville causing the complaintant to take evasive action.

Police say they issued Skala a summons returnable in Town of Middletown Justice Court.

Shannon L. Chojnowski, 34, of Roxbury was arrested by Shandaken Police on November 1 and charged with DWI after she was stopped for a traffic violation.
Shandaken Deputies say they also charged Chojnowski with being an unlicensed operator and with failure to signal a lane change.
She was arraigned in Shandaken Justice Court and sent to the Ulster County Jail on cash bail.

Michael R. Sheremetta, 31, of Kerhonkson was arrested by state police on October 25 on a bench warrant issued by the Town of Middletown Justice Court for failure to appear/pay a traffic violation. He was arraigned in Town of Roxbury Justice Court and remanded to the county jail in lieu of $750 cash bail to reappear in Middletown Justice Court at a later date.

A Bloomville man faces a number of charges after he was arrested by state police on October 22 after he allegedly tried to elude officers when they tried to pull him over for a traffic violation.
Police say the charged Adam K. Gladstone, 27, with nine traffic violations, including DWI. He was also charged with by DEC Officer Wilber with having an untagged deer in his truck. Police say they charged Gladstone with DWI when his blood alcohol content allegedly tested .18 percent.
He was issued tickets returnable in Town of Stamford Justice Court.

Jeffrey C. Stoop, 30, of DeLancey was arrested by state police on October 8 and charged with DWI after he was stopped on Route 10 in Delhi for a traffic violation. Police say they charged Stoop when his blood alcohol level allegedly tested .16 percent.
Stoop was issued traffic tickets returnable in Town of Delhi Justice Court on October 18.

Alan W. Cobb, 19, of Roxbury was arrested by state police on October 9 and charged with second-degree harassment and fourth-degree menacing following an argument with his mother.
