Charles William Vossler died on October 18, 2014 from complications related to Alzheimer's at Riverwalk Village Nursing home in Noblesville IN.

Winifred Novak

Winifred (Nancy) Novak, resident of Andes for the past seven years, died at her residence on Monday October 13, 2014.
She was born on November 19, 1951 at Staten  Island, New York.
She is survived by two sons, Keith Zirpoli and Robert Smerina, and a daughter Michelle D’Antuono, five grandchildren and her former husband Ernest Coscia.
Funeral services will be held at the Hynes Funeral Home, Margaretville on Friday, Oct.  17. Pastor Hiram Davis, officiating.

June Ford

June H. Smith Ford, 80, formerly of Roxbury, died Tuesday, Oct. 7, 2014 at Robinson Terrace Living Center in Stamford where she had been a resident since 2011.
June was born July 6,1934 in Plattsburg to Ivan Herbert Smith and Doris (Disco) Smith. She moved with her family to Roxbury from Albany in 1945.
June graduated from Roxbury Central School in 1953. She enjoyed singing in the chorus. June loved animals, children, church, and most of all, her family.
She married John M. Ford of Shandaken in 1955 in the Roxbury Methodist Church.

Henry Miller

Henry G. Miller, 77, a resident of Fleischmanns since 1992, died at Margaretville Hospital on Thursday, Oct. 2, 2014.
Henry was born June 10, 1937 in the Bronx, the son of Henry F. and Lillian (Bauer) Miller. He married Bernadine M. John on September 2, 1961 in New York City.
Henry served in the U.S. Air Force from 1955 to 1959. He was then employed by the
U.S. Postal Service in New York City. After retiring, he moved to Fleischmanns. He enjoyed fishing, hiking, gardening, and riding his bike.

Donald Kellerhouse, Jr.

Donald E. Kellerhouse Jr., 58, a resident of North Blenheim, and formerly of Grand Gorge, died Wednesday, Oct. 1, 2014 at Stamford.
He was born January 21, 1956 at Margaretville, the son of Don­ald E. and Shirley (Hinkley) Kellerhouse.
He was a food service manager in several institutions in the area, the last being St. Claire’s
Hospital in Schenectady.  He then changed employment to do trucking. Don enjoyed camping, traveling, doing home repairs, and most of all, he loved his family, especially his grandchildren.

Nellie Thorington

Nellie E. Thorington, a long-time resident of Grand Gorge, died Monday, Sept. 29, 2014 at Fox Nursing Home in Oneonta.
Her funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 2, 2014 at the Grand Gorge United Methodist Church with the Rev. Dottie Morris, officiating.
Calling hours will be held at the church prior to the service. Committal will follow at the Fairview Cemetery in Grand Gorge.

Joanne Cook

Joanne Marie Cook, 64, of Charlotte, NC passed away on Saturday, Sept. 20, 2014.
She was born to the late Carl and Beverly Stone, on February 15, 1950 in Harpursville. She graduated from Windsor High School in 1968 and married Robert W. Cook on June 27, 1970. The couple had two sons, the late Bradley C. Cook, born in 1977 and Christopher W. Cook, born in 1979.

JoAnne Huggans

On a nice sunny day, September 15, 2014, Stamford resident JoAnne C. Huggans, 54, passed away.
JoAnne was born in Margar­et­ville on October 8, 1959. She was the daughter of Eileen E. (Ackerley) and Richard H. Huggans.
She was educated at Margaretville Central School and received her GED at Daytona Community College in Florida.

Richard Weidemann

Richard Allen Wiedemann, 68, formerly of Oneonta, died Sunday, Sept. 28, 2014 at
A.O. Fox Hospital in Oneonta.
Richard was born August 21, 1946 in Margaretville, the son of Julian and Carolyn (Gaarn) Wiedemann.
He worked at Brooks’ Barbecue in Oneonta for many years where he was a member of their bowling team. He graduated from Roxbury Central School where he loved playing soccer and baseball. Richard was a big New York Mets’ fan and enjoyed attending baseball games at Shea Stadium.

Dr. Ingrid Lor

Ingrid Lor, D.C., 54, of Newburyport, MA and formerly of Andes, died unexpectedly at her home on September 8, 2014.
She was born on March 10, 1960, a daughter of Dr. Robert and Stella Lor at Huntington Hospital on Long Island.
She was a 1978 graduate of Andes Central School where she enjoyed competing in soccer, basketball, and tennis. She was the Delaware County tennis champion. She also liked to hike, bike, horseback ride, ski, ice skate, and rollerblade. She played the flute and the piano.
