Miriam “Mick” Van Keuren, 88, of Canandaigua, died peacefully at home on Wednesday, March 26, 2008.
She passed away comfortably in her recliner with a cup of hot coffee on the table and her Westerns on the television.

Susan A. Kleppin, 54, of Arkville, died Friday, April 4, 2008 at Mountainside Residential Care Center, Margaretville.
She was born in Springfield, Mass., on April 20, 1953.

Richard L. “Dick” Johnson, 81, of Lamphere Lane, Arkville died Friday, April 4, 2008 at Kingston Hospital.
He was born in Halcott Center on November 19, 1926, son of the late Herbert and Gertrude Fiero Johnson.

Mabel J. Truesdell, 99, a lifelong resident of Andes, died Thursday, April 3, 2008 in the Countryside Care Center, Delhi.
She was born in Andes on December 26, 1908 the daughter of the late Velie and Sarah Worden McQueen.

John B. Ackerley, 57, (Hot Rod Farmer) of Andes, beloved husband, father and friend, died Saturday, April 5, 2008 at Albany Medical Center.
He was born in Margaretville on September 25, 1950, the son of Sheldon and Myrtle (Gibson) Ackerley.

Leigh F. Kaestner Williams, 52, of Denver, died Thursday, March 27, 2008 at her home with her devoted family by her side.
She was born July 18, 1955 in Huntington, the daughter of Richard and Frances Kaestner.

Melissa S. Finch, 70, of Roxbury, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, went to be with our Lord Jesus Christ on Thursday, March 27, 2008, surrounded by her loved ones, at Bassett Hospital in Cooperstown.
She was born May 30, 1937 in Roscoe.

Barbara J. Carroll, 80, of Arkville, died Wednesday, March 26, 2008 at Margaretville Memorial Hospital.
She was born in Brooklyn, the daughter of Howard and Grace (Herlihy) Arnold.

Jane Brighton-Fleissig, born in Trencin Slovakia and a Holocaust survivor, died in Kingston on Wednesday, March 26, 2008 in her 99th year.
