Richard "Dick" Kamp

Dick Kamp. 79, of Ossining passed away Friday, April 9, 2010. He was born Oct. 10, 1930 in Ossining, the son of Albert Jr. and Blanche Acker Kamp. Dick graduated from OHS in 1948 and was a veteran of the Korean War.


David Metsch

David Metsch, 77, of Margaretville passed away Sunday, April 4, 2010 at Kingston Hospital, Kingston, N.Y. He was born Nov. 5, 1932 in the Bronx, the son of Benjamin and Anna (Lexer) Metsch. He married Alda Golding December 23, 1956 in the Bronx.


Nancy Stevens

Nancy Ann Stevens, 67, passed away Wednesday, March 31, 2010. peacefully at home, Otto Hill, Margaretville, after a courageous eight-month battle with small cell lung cancer. She was surrounded by her close family. She was born Feb. 8, 1943, at Otto Hill, the daughter of Ann Hill Griffin and William Griffin.


John Bammel

John D. Bammel, 52, of Halcott Center and Kinnelon, N.J., died Friday, April 2, 2010 at the Margaretville Hospital. He was born August 26, 1957 in Houston, Texas, son of Elizabeth Cordray Bammel and the late Herbert Bammel.
John earned his B.A. at the University of Houston and his J.D. at South Texas College of Law.


Elfriede Brybag

Elfriede T. Brybag, 77, of Moran Road, Fleischmanns, died Monday, April 5, 2010 at the Kingston Hospital. She was born May 2, 1932 in Surinam, South America, daughter of the late Hendrik and Henriet Asmus VanBrussel.


Anita F. Gerould

Anita F. Gerould, 88, of Trout Creek, passed away on Saturday, March 27, 2010 at home.
She was born February 16, 1922 in Union Grove, the daughter of the late Eno and Edna Belle (Jenkins) Fletcher. Anita married Harry Dean Gerould on April 5, 1964 in Fishes Eddy. Dean passed away on November 13, 1986.


Jefferson Kelly

Jefferson Kelly, 83, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 27, 2010 surrounded by his loving family. “Kelly” as he was known to his family and friends, was born in Fleischmnns, the son of the late Jesse and Oscar Kelly.
He proudly served in the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Sampson in the Pacific Theatre during WWII.


Sherry Bush

Sherry D. Bush, 60, of Margaretville, died Wednesday, March 24, 2010, from injuries sustained in a car accident on Route 10 in the Town of Hamden. The daughter of Charles Lester and Arlene (Wickham) Reed, Sherry was born Nov. 29, 1949.
Sherry graduated from Margaretville Central School with the class of 1967 and attended State University College of Technology at Delhi, graduating in May of 1991 as a registered nurse.


Marion Miller

Marion Miller, 88, formerly of Fox Hollow Road, Shandaken, died Wednesday, March 17, 2010 at the Mountainside Care Center in Margaretville. She was born April 30, 1921, the daughter of the late Alfred and Mabel Taylor Whispel.


Mary Alice Wiedemann

Mary Alice Wiedemann, 87, of Roxbury, passed away Friday, March 12, 2010 at A.O. Fox Memorial Hospital, Oneonta. She was born on the family homestead on June 26, 1922, in Kiskatom, the daughter of Nelson F. Lasher and Elizabeth Palmer.
