Dan Underwood honored

The Outstanding Senior Citizen Award for 2010 was given to Dan Underwood of Roxbury at the Delaware County Senior Council’s 37th Annual Luncheon meeting held September 13 at Hanah Country Inn, Margaretville.


German American Oktoberfest

Highmount — The German-American Club of the Northern Catskills, Inc. will sponsor its 11th Annual Oktoberfest at Belleayre Mountain Ski Center’s Discovery Lodge on Saturday, Oct. 16 from 11 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. The popular event is being co-sponsored by Belleayre Mountain Ski Center.

A family buffet was held Saturday evening, Sept. 4 at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Vincent Snyder to celebrate the birthdays of Greg Snyder on September 4 and Anne Snyder on September 5. Mr. and Mrs. Greg Snyder and son, Cooper, Kristin Snyder and friend Joel Zale and Esther Snyder enjoyed the meal and birthday cake which was made by Kerry Snyder.
