RAG features two artists in "Concurrence" show

"Concurrence," a joint exhibit of paintings and prints by artists Gerda van Leeuwen and Lisbeth Firmin, opens the gallery season at The Roxbury Arts Group’s Walt Meade Gallery on Saturday, March 15. The opening reception will be Saturday from 2 to 4 p.m. The exhibit will run through April 21.

14th Spring Fair planned Saturday at Mountainside

The Auxiliary of Margaretville Memorial Hospital and Mountainside Residential Care Center will host its 14th annual Spring Fair on Saturday, March 15 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Mountainside.
The event will feature an Easter Egg Treasure Hunt, photos with the Easter Bunny, crafts, candy, baked goods, and products by Avon and Mary Kay.

St. Paddy's parade is Sunday along Halcottsville's Main Street

The Children of the Leprechaun, together with the Halcottsville Fire Department, will host the 15th annual Saint Paddy’s Day Parade on Sunday, March 16 beginning at noon along Main Street, Halcottsville.

Shandaken Women's Network hosts a "Self-Cleaning House" Workshop

The Shandaken Women’s Network will host a special dinner meeting and workshop on Wednesday, March 19 starting with dinner at 6 p.m. at the Alamo Cantina in Phoenicia entitled “The Self-Cleaning House” presented by entrepreneur and President Melody Newcombe.

Making books will be focus of Roxbury Library workshop

Roxbury resident and visual artist Susan Whittenburg will offer a presentation on the art of book making for the March Tuesday Forum program at the Roxbury Library on Tuesday, March 11 at 1 p.m.
Regular Tuesday Forum attendees will provide refreshments following Whittenburg’s presentation.
