Highmount — America, a band that dominated radio airwaves throughout the 1970s and whose signature folk-rock sound still resonates today, will bring its hit-filled 40th Anniversary Tour to the Belleayre Music Festival on Saturday, Aug. 14 at 8 p.m.


Patti Austin, Scofield/Lovano Quartet close out Belleayre Jazz Series Weekend

Highmount – The soaring vocals of Grammy-winning artist Patti Austin on Saturday, Aug. 7 and the organic rhythms of the John Scofield/John Lovano Quartet on Friday, Aug. 6 will close the Catskill Mountain Jazz Series at the Belleayre Music Festival. The shows begin at 8 p.m.

Romantic classics featured the air Saturday at Belleayre

Highmount — Love will be in the air as Maestro John Covelli leads the Belleayre Festival Orchestra in an enchanted evening of romantic classics on Saturday, July 17 at 8 p.m.

Maestro Covelli will conduct the orchestra and will also perform as a soloist on Tchaikovsky’s Piano Concerto #1. Asher Raboy will serve as guest conductor.


Joseph Arthur, Meghan Wolf play Belleayre club on Friday

Highmount — Hip singer-songwriters Joseph Arthur and Meghan Wolf will offer tantalizing blend of innovative tunes at the Belleayre Music Festival on Friday, July 16 at 8 p.m.

Joseph Arthur’s “one-man band” show draws rave reviews wherever he plays. Utilizing looping techniques and an array of effects pedals, he creates a full instrumental accompaniment for penetrating songs.


Broadway superstar Patti LuPone brings soaring talents to Belleayre

Highmount - Patti LuPone, one of the brightest stars in Broadway history, will display her soaring vocal talents in the intimate setting of the Belleayre Music Festival on Saturday, July 10 at 8 p.m.
Patti made a triumphant solo concert debut at New York’s Carnegie Hall in “Coulda, Woulda, Shoulda,” resulting in a sold-out encore performance and she will perform this show at Belleayre.
